1. Drink 6 to 10, 8-ounce glasses of water a day. Adequate water will provide the moisture needed to plump your skin to keep it youthful and wrinkle-free.

Gulab Jamun


Ingredients :
Milk - 3/4 litre
Refined flour - 1cup heaped
Sugar - 1tbs
Soda powder - 2 pinch
Ghee - 100gm
Sugar - 3cups
Water - 3cups
Crushed cardamom - 6nos
Saffron - 2pinch
Rose essence - 1tsp


Method :
Boil the milk till its quantity reduces to 1/2 cup and remove from fire. When it cools, add 1tbs sugar and soda powder. Mix well with a spoon and make it smooth. Add flour slowly and make a fine dough. Keep it for an hour.
Apply some ghee on the hands and make small balls with the prepared mixture. We can make about 40 jamuns with the mixture. Heat ghee in a pan. Fry the jamuns in ghee on a low flame.
Boil 3 cups of water with 3 cups sugar, cardamom and saffron. Filter it and add rose essence in it. Put the jamuns in this solution. It can be used after 3-4 hours.

Filipino Style Spaghetti Recipe

How to Make Delicious Chicken Spaghettithumbnail

Spaghetti Ingredients:

  • 1 kg. spaghetti noodles
  • 1/2 kg. ground beef
  • 1/2 kg. ground pork
  • 1/4 kg. hotdogs, diagonally sliced
  • 1 kg. tomato sauce (or 3/4 kg. tomato sauce and 1/4 kg. banana catsup)
  • 3 pieces laurel leaves (bay leaves)
  • 1/4 cup brown or white sugar (reduce to 1/8 cup if using banana catsup)
  • 2 green bell peppers, diced
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 1 head garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons of cooking oil
  • 1 cup of water
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese

Spaghetti Cooking Instructions:

  • Cook spaghetti noodles according to package instructions.
  • In a sauce pan or wok, sauté garlic and onions in cooking oil.
  • Add ground beef, ground pork, laurel leaves, bell pepper and a cup of water. Bring to a boil and let simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Add tomato sauce or combination of banana catsup and tomato sauce, salt and pepper to taste then let simmer for another 10 minutes
  • Add brown sugar and hotdogs. Continue to simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
  • Optional: add hot sauce e.g. Tabasco for more spice if desired.
  • Serve with the cooked spaghetti noodles and grated cheese on top.

......Chicken Corn Soup......


Warm up on a frosty evening with a steaming hot bowl of Chinese chicken corn soup. The rich and creamy soup is the ultimate comfort food. Serve it with a warm piece of crusty bread for a perfect dinner.

Things You'll Need

  • Water
  • Chicken
  • Peppercorn
  • Parsley
  • Salt
  • White or yellow onion
  • Fresh ginger root
  • Green onions
  • Bouillon, liquid or cubes
  • Sesame oil
  • Freshly ground pepper
  • Canned creamed corn
  • Cornstarch
  • Egg whites
  • Ham, cooke
    • 1
      Combine the water, chicken, whole peppercorns, salt and parsley in a large dutch oven. Slice the onions and ginger root very thinly and add both to the chicken mixture. Cook the mixture covered over medium heat until the water comes to a boil.

      Reduce the heat to low and allow the mixture to simmer for 1½ hours. Spoon the fat from the top and drain the mixture, returning the stock to the dutch oven.

      Trim 1 cup of chicken from the bones. Add it to the stock and set the remainder aside.

      Chop several of the green onions very finely. Add the onions, bouillon, corn, sesame oil, pepper, grated ginger and the the remaining salt to the chicken stock in the dutch oven and bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.

      Mix the cornstarch with water and stir it into the dutch oven. Continue cooking the soup until it begins to thicken. In a small bowl, beat the eggs whites with water, and drizzle the mixture slowly into the stock as you stir it vigorously.

      Slice the ham into small strips, and stir it into the soup along with the remaining chicken.

      Serve the hot Chinese chicken corn soup in soup bowls, and garnish it with the remainder of the green onions, thinly sliced..enjoy
